What we’re about

Mission - To build a collaborative community where learners use natural language and AI tools to solve everyday problems through hands-on projects, inspired by the Software 3.0 paradigm.

Cafe Vibe Coders is a bi-weekly meetup group (Sunday afternoon, 2-3 hours at local Starbucks) where beginners and intermediate tech enthusiasts explore AI-powered development. We focus on:
*Practice Problem-Solving: Members bring daily frustrations and collaboratively build solutions using AI tools.
*Project-Based Learning: Monthly micro-projects reinforce skills in natural language programming and low-code development.
*Inclusive Environment: No experts - only curious learners sharing wins and roadblocks. All materials/tools are free or open-source.
*Human-Centric Approach: Hosted by a child psychologist, we explore how tech solves daily challenges, prioritizing creative applications over technical perfection.

What: Casual meetup using "Vibe Coding" (AI tools like Cursor, Replit AI, Bolt.new, Lovable, V0...) to solve real, everyday problems. We meet twice a month, on Sunday afternoon, 2-3 hours at Starbucks.
How it Works:
1. Bring a problem: Share daily frustrations we can tackle with teach.
2. Build together: Work solo or collaborate on small projects using AI tools.

Hosted by Sue: A fellow enthusiast (Ph.D. in Child Psychology) exploring how tech solves daily problems. I've always been obsessed with how new tech solves human problems. Three months ago, I dove headfirst into learning LLMs and "Vibe Coding", and it blew my mind! I'm still very much an amateur enthusiast, not a guru. That's why I started this group: to find fellow curious minds who geek out over using fresh tech to build clever little things, together. No Cost, just show up!
