About us
Hello and welcome to the Mandarin learning social! I created this group with the intention to learn Mandarin and build new friendships along the way!
I will aim to host a meetup every Saturday.
Each meetup I (or a group member) will prepare a new phrase to learn and focus on. Depending on how large the turnout may be, we can split the group into smaller groups of 3-4 people and practice the phrase as well as review the previous weeks' phrases. After about 20 minutes of learning Mandarin, we can just socialize and mingle amongst each other with your new language learning buddies.
Aside from the language learning Saturdays, we call all chime in together to make fun events happen: Movies, pickleball, bbqs, beach bonfires, concerts, badminton, and karaoke!
If you're looking to make new friends and build meaningful connections while learning Mandarin and are in your 20's-30's you'll be a perfect fit for this group!
