About us

Issaquah Walk & Game

We get together once a week for a casual-paced walk (1–3
miles, easy trails) through Issaquah’s / eastside parks and green spaces. Connect with locals who love being active and gaming.

During the walk we plan and vote on a gaming session for later that day. Could be online (Console, PC based) or hosted (board games, card games, video games, LAN party).

Event organizer is encouraged to set a theme for the walk. For example:

Cozy game day = start a Stardew Valley farm, play Animal crossing.
Nintendo classics = Mario Kart, Mario Party
RTS = AOE, StarCraft

Perfect for:

Anyone who wants light exercise + socializing (all fitness & gaming levels welcome—beginners to pros, 20s to 60s+)
People tired of screen-only gaming or solo walks
Locals looking to make real friends in Issaquah

What to expect: Weekly walking event rain or shine. Comfortable shoes, water, and your favorite game ideas. No commitment to joining the gaming session.

First group event! We’ll meet up and do a casual, flat 2–2.5 mile walk along the shores of Lake Sammamish. All fitness levels welcome — beginners, casual walkers.
During the walk we'll plan a gaming session for later that same day — online (Console, PC) or hosted in-person (board games, cards, video games, LAN party…).

What to bring:

Comfortable walking shoes & layers (late March = cool 45–55°F, possible light rain)
Water & a snack
Your game ideas — anything you’re excited to play!
