🥾 Hike at Hidden Lake
Join us for a fun day on the trails with your IT Girls crew! Whether you're a seasoned hiker or have never laced up a pair of trail shoes in your life, this trip is for you. We'll be hiking a scenic, well-marked trail with gentle elevation, which is perfect for beginners.

What to bring:

• Water and snacks (no food provided)
• Clothes you don't mind getting wet

• What happens if it rains?
• If it rains, the event will be rescheduled. We'll send everyone an email the morning of to let you know!
• Can I bring my kid?
• Yes!
• Will there be food?
• No, please bring water and any snacks you may want.
• Is the venue ADA accessible?
• Unfortunately, this event isn't ADA accessible — getting in and out of a kayak makes it difficult to accommodate. That said, we make a point to balance inaccessible events with ones that are, so keep an eye out for our next event, which will be accessible to everyone!
• I'm a man, can I attend your event?
• We would like to keep our meetups as much for women and women-identifying members as possible, so we ask that you maybe skip this one. BUT we are planning Ally events and an Ally channel in NashDev in the future so that we can include more people in what we're doing. Stay tuned!
• I'm non-binary, trans, and/or queer. Am I welcome at this event?
• YES! If you've taken a look at our organization and you identify with us, then we welcome you with open arms. Come join our crew.
