I.T. Girls Does Pole Dancing (Private Class)

We're finally doing it! We've floated the idea of a pole dancing class to you all over the past year, and the feedback was overwhelmingly yes, so we booked it. This is a private class, which means it's just us: no pressure, just our crew learning something new together. The class is geared for total beginners, and by the time we're done, you'll have learned a short routine and actually danced it. No experience required, just show up.
Heads up: this class is capped at 8 people, so grab your spot early — once it's full, it's full!
Afterward, we'll head down the street to Cledi's Burgers for lunch and to keep the good vibes going.

What to wear & bring:
- Leggings or shorts
- T-shirt, tank, or sports bra
- Barefoot (no shoes or socks on the pole)
- Water
- A hand towel if you tend to get sweaty
One pro tip: the more skin you have showing, the easier it is to grip the pole. Long pants will have you sliding all over the place, so shorts and a tank will make your life easier. That said, come as covered up or as uncovered as you feel comfortable. This is a no-judgment zone.

- Is there a cost?
- Yes — the class is $35, which covers our studio rental and our instructor. You will pay through Meetup when you RSVP.
- I'm non-binary, trans, and/or queer. Am I welcome at this event?
- YES! If you've taken a look at our organization and you identify with us, then we welcome you with open arms. Come join our crew.
- I'm a man, can I attend your event?
- We'd like to keep our meetups as much for women and women-identifying members as possible, so we ask that you maybe skip this one. BUT we're planning Ally events and an Ally channel in NashDev in the future so we can include more people in what we're doing. Stay tuned!
- Will there be food?
- We won't be providing food, but we'll all grab lunch together at Cledi's Burgers right after class — plan to bring some money if you'd like to join (and you should!).
