What we’re about
The Edmonton Italian Speakers Meetup provides the space to practice speaking and listening to Italian.
Whether you are a beginner student wanting to learn, advanced speaker desiring to practice, or travelling to Italy, you will be able to practice. Involvement of all levels of speakers will help everyone get better.
Whenever possible, the meetup will be organized around Italian culture, so as to immerse members not only in the language, but all things Italian.

Celebrate 65 Years of Scuola Dante!
Italian Cultural Center, 14230 133 Avenue, Edmonton, AB, CALet’s Celebrate! Graduating Italian Language Students for 65 Years.
Come to the festa by Dante Alighieri School – of Edmonton.
Date/Time/Place: January 17, 2026 at 6PM (doors open), Italian Cultural Center, 14230 133 Ave NW, Edmonton
It is so important to celebrate achievements and important milestones, and for 65 years, Scuola Dante has been not only teaching the Italian language, but it has been contributing to the Italian cultural landscape. The tireless work of volunteers, administrative staff, and educators isn’t unnoticed.
Join the party! Here’s what’s included:
-Tickets $75/adult; child ages 7-12 $40; age 0-6 free; $10 discount for students/members/same household.
-An Italian inspired meal by the catering team at Italian Cultural Center
-Sip and savor the social opportunity to meet staff, students, and community members.
-Cash bar, so you can enjoy as much (or as little) as you’d like
-Presentations and acknowledgements
-Clap, sing, dance, or cheer to the DJ’s celebration playlist.
-Parking free at Italian Cultural Center
