Hello, we're It's a Date - a London-based speed dating and singles events company. We’re professional icebreakers; reviving London’s dating scene with feel-good events, in awesome venues, with fun and charismatic hosts.
Personal experience and our single friends have taught us that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to finding love. It’s why we set to work redesigning dating events, creating opportunities for you to express yourself authentically and meet like-minded singles.

Our popular social Singles Party attracts a growing crowd of guests aged 30–45 each month. Meet up to 160 eligible Londoners in a fun, relaxed setting built for great conversation and easy introductions.
A few moments from King’s Cross station you will find Drake & Morgan, a trendy and cosmopolitan bar spread over two floors with a great atmosphere and eclectic crowd. We welcome around 160 guests for introductions and socialising in a private area reserved exclusively for It's a Date. For those who like a bit of dance floor action, the venue has a DJ keeping the energy high and good times flowing in the basement bar until late.
Your hosts will be at the venue ready to welcome you at 19:30. They will be wearing a big smile and easy to spot, but if you’re uncertain just ask one of the friendly bar team.
Hosts will indicate the area reserved exclusively for our event, offer you an optional name sticker, and direct you to where to leave your jacket. A complimentary welcome drink is offered to guests arriving before 20:00 – no better reason to arrive in good time!
When comfortable, your hosts will introduce you to other guests and aid group mingling. Singles parties are more casual and informal in structure – a great opportunity to meet and network with other like-minded single people in a relaxed and fun environment. Our hosts will be there from start to finish to ensure you have the chance to meet everyone and make any special introductions at your request.
With around 160 guests at every party, there is heaps of opportunity to make new connections, enjoy a couple of drinks, and soak up the atmosphere.
After the evening concludes, you can access the event listing in your dashboard to enter feedback on those you have met and await your matches. A match is struck when two guests reciprocate identical feedback; indicating mutual intent to reconnect and enabling messaging via our online platform.

Calling all cocktail enthusiasts! Shake up your dating game with 24 high-spirited singles at this unique mixology masterclass, led by the cocktail magicians at The Alchemist.
Learn step-by-step how to create one of The Alchemist’s classic cocktails in a lively, interactive session — with the occasional surprise along the way! Whether you’re a little Old Fashioned or more Cosmopolitan, you’re sure to find something (and possibly someone) that stirs your senses. So, don’t be a Moscow Mule — come along and enjoy the best fun you’ve had mixing and mingling in a Long (Island Iced Tea) time.
Arrive at 19:30 to be welcomed by your host, who will direct you to the private event area, provide a name sticker, and give you a quick low-down on how the evening will run.
During the masterclass, you’ll be split into mixed groups designed to break (or crush?) the ice, spark conversation, and discover shared passions — perhaps a love of the perfect Fruit Martini! Between sessions, mingle with other guests or relax and discuss the art of the perfect Negroni with a newfound connection.
The cocktail you create is yours to enjoy, and additional drinks are available to purchase from the bar. Your host — affectionately dubbed ‘pretty fly for a Mai Tai’ — will be on-hand throughout to keep the cocktails and good times flowing. After the class, a resident DJ will take over for anyone in the party mood.
Following the event, post-event matching will be available via your It’s a Date dashboard, so you can continue the conversation or schedule a second date at your own pace.

All Star Lanes Holborn is an intimate, retro-style venue that’s perfect for bowling over potential matches as you rack up those strikes…or gutter-balls(?!) Whatever your bowling-game, it’s all light-hearted, heaps of fun, and a great opportunity to meet likeminded singles either on the lanes or socialising in a private networking space reserved exclusively for It’s a Date. Throughout the evening, the bar team keep everyone refreshed with creative cocktails, craft beers, wines, and for those looking for the authentic All-Star experience – delicious milkshakes.
This bowling themed event is ideal for fun-loving singles booking individually or with friends. Everyone will be welcomed by our host at 19:15 who will offer you a name sticker, direct you to our private area, and ensure you have time to grab a drink before we begin.
Guests alternate between the lanes in mixed groups of guys and girls for an action-packed game of bowling designed to break the ice, get the conversation flowing, and become acquainted with your fellow teammates. While not bowling, you will have the chance to socialise more widely as our host is on-hand to make introductions to all other guests.
At the end of the games, we will tot-up the scores and announce our King- or Queen-pin of the evening. However, if previous events are anything to go by, everyone’s a winner at this great fun evening.
Post-event matching will be available on your It’s a Date dashboard where you can continue the winning streak in love as well as on the lanes.

Speed Dating in The City | Ages 40 to 55

Escape the ordinary at our popular Friday night speed dating event in The City. You will join 36 single guests in an intimate private space of this centrally located venue, just steps from Monument tube station. The Folly is a super-fun and lively environment with seasonal cocktails (we’d recommend the espresso martini), great service, and heaps of space to continue socialising after a busy evening of introductions.
Our host will be at the venue ready to welcome you at 19:30. Please arrive on time for registration, to grab any drinks from the bar, and receive a summary of how things will work. You will be given an optional name sticker, a pen, and note card to keep track of everyone you’ve met.
Ladies will be seated on tables adequately spaced, discreetly numbered, and arranged in a comfortable area of the venue. When speed dating commences, gents will join ladies for 5-minute dates to get to know one another. Your host will notify all guests at the end of each date, signalling for gents to move to the next table in ascending numerical order.
During table rotations you will have a moment to record on note cards your feelings towards the previous date and intention to reconnect, for your reference only.Mid-way through the evening, your host will indicate a 15-minute comfort break to use the rest room, head to the bar, or socialise with new connections. Dating will then resume for the second half of the evening.
