Hello, we're It's a Date - a London-based speed dating and singles events company. We’re professional icebreakers; reviving London’s dating scene with feel-good events, in awesome venues, with fun and charismatic hosts.
Personal experience and our single friends have taught us that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to finding love. It’s why we set to work redesigning dating events, creating opportunities for you to express yourself authentically and meet like-minded singles.

Over 140 guests aged 40–65 will join us in a private area reserved exclusively for It’s a Date—ideal for mixing, mingling, and making real connections. Expect a fun, easy-going night with tons of new faces, great hosting, and good energy all evening.
Your hosts will be at the venue ready to welcome you at 19:30. They will be wearing a big smile and easy to spot, but if you’re uncertain just ask one of the friendly bar team.
Hosts will indicate the area reserved exclusively for our event, offer you an optional name sticker, and direct you to where to leave your jacket. A complimentary welcome drink is offered to guests arriving before 20:00 – no better reason to arrive in good time!
When comfortable, your hosts will introduce you to other guests and aid group mingling. Singles parties are more casual and informal in structure – a great opportunity to meet and network with other like-minded single people in a relaxed and fun environment. Our hosts will be there from start to finish to ensure you have the chance to meet everyone and make any special introductions at your request.
With around 140 guests at every party, there is heaps of opportunity to make new connections, enjoy a couple of drinks, and soak up the atmosphere.
After the evening concludes, you can access the event listing in your dashboard to enter feedback on those you have met and await your matches. A match is struck when two guests reciprocate identical feedback; indicating mutual intent to reconnect and enabling messaging via our online platform.

Our host will be at the venue ready to welcome you at 19:30. Please arrive on time for registration, to grab any drinks from the bar, and receive a summary of how things will work. You will be given an optional name sticker, a pen, and note card to keep track of everyone you’ve met.
Ladies will be seated on tables adequately spaced, discreetly numbered, and arranged in a comfortable area of the venue. When speed dating commences, gents will join ladies for 5-minute dates to get to know one another.
