Hello, we're It's a Date - a London-based speed dating and singles events company. We’re professional icebreakers; reviving London’s dating scene with feel-good events, in awesome venues, with fun and charismatic hosts.
Personal experience and our single friends have taught us that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to finding love. It’s why we set to work redesigning dating events, creating opportunities for you to express yourself authentically and meet like-minded singles.

Our popular Singles Party attracts a growing crowd of Londoners aged 30–45 each month, with up to 160 guests joining us for an evening of relaxed introductions, great conversation, and easy socialising.
Just moments from King’s Cross station, Drake & Morgan is a stylish, cosmopolitan venue spread across two floors with a lively atmosphere and eclectic crowd. Guests will enjoy exclusive access to a private area reserved for It’s a Date, while those looking to continue the night can head downstairs where the DJ keeps the energy high until late.
Your hosts will be ready to welcome you from 19:30 and will help you settle in, introduce you to other guests, and encourage group mingling throughout the evening. Optional name stickers and somewhere to leave your jacket will also be available.
Arrive before 20:00 to enjoy a complimentary welcome drink — the perfect excuse to arrive on time.
Our Singles Parties are intentionally informal and sociable, giving you the opportunity to meet a wide range of like-minded people in a relaxed environment. With around 160 guests at each event, there’s plenty of opportunity to make new connections while enjoying the atmosphere.
After the event, you can access your dashboard to leave feedback on the people you met and view your matches. A match is created when two guests select mutual interest, unlocking messaging through our online platform.

Our host will be at the venue ready to welcome you at 19:30. Please arrive on time for registration, grab any drinks from the bar, and receive a summary of how things will work. You will be given an optional name sticker, a pen, and a note card to keep track of everyone you’ve met.
Ladies will be seated on tables adequately spaced, discreetly numbered, and arranged in a comfortable area of the venue. When speed dating commences, gents will join ladies for 5-minute dates to get to know one another. Your host will notify all guests at the end of each date, signalling for gents to move to the next table in ascending numerical order. During table rotations, you will have a moment to record on note cards your feelings towards the previous date and intention to reconnect, for your reference only.
Mid-way through the evening, your host will indicate a 15-minute comfort break to use the rest room, head to the bar, or socialise with new connections. Dating will then resume for the second half of the evening.
