You’re looking at Manchester’s most popular speed dating event — 15 matches, a super-cool venue, and an awesome host to keep the fun flowing. If that sounds like your kind of night, you’re in the right place.

Gusto is a spacious, stylish bar-restaurant with a comfortable, contemporary feel, featuring a semi-private mezzanine that creates a relaxed and intimate setting perfect for an evening of new introductions. A creative drinks menu and well-stocked bar, offering craft beers, seasonal cocktails, and Italian classics, will keep you cool and refreshed as you enjoy a series of fun, engaging conversations with exciting new connections — the perfect start to your weekend and a fresh, effortless way to date.

Our host will be at the venue ready to welcome you from 19:15. Please arrive on time for registration, to grab a drink from the bar, and to receive a quick overview of how the evening will run. You’ll also be given an optional name sticker, a pen, and a note card to keep track of everyone you meet.

Ladies will be seated at tables that are comfortably spaced, discreetly numbered, and arranged in a relaxed area of the venue. Once speed dating begins, gents will join ladies for 5-minute dates. Your host will signal the end of each round, prompting gents to move to the next table in ascending order.

Between rotations, you’ll have a moment to jot down your impressions of the previous date and note whether you’d like to reconnect later. These cards are for your reference only.

Midway through the evening, your host will announce a 15-minute comfort break, giving you time to use the restroom, refresh your drink, or mingle with new connections. Dating will then resume for the second half of the event.

At the end of the evening, the bar will remain open for further socialising. Afterwards, you can log in to your dashboard to record feedback on your dates and see your matches.
