Hello, we're It's a Date - a London-based speed dating and singles events company. We’re professional icebreakers; reviving London’s dating scene with feel-good events, in awesome venues, with fun and charismatic hosts.
Personal experience and our single friends have taught us that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to finding love. It’s why we set to work redesigning dating events, creating opportunities for you to express yourself authentically and meet like-minded singles.

A few moments from King’s Cross Underground and St Pancras stations, Drake & Morgan is a trendy, cosmopolitan bar spread across two floors. With a fantastic atmosphere, a classy vibe, and an eclectic crowd, it’s the perfect place for a night out.
This event will welcome over 80 guests, aged 40 to 65, for a chance to mix, mingle, and make new connections in a private area reserved exclusively for It’s a Date. Expect a super-fun, relaxed, and informal evening, full of new faces and plenty of opportunities to socialise with other outgoing single Londoners. And for anyone with itchy dancing feet, there’s a resident DJ playing the basement bar until late!
Our host will be at the venue, ready to welcome you at 19:30. They’ll be easy to spot with a big smile, but if you’re unsure, just ask one of the friendly bar team. Your host will guide you to the area reserved exclusively for our event, offer you an optional name sticker, and direct you to where you can leave your jacket. Plus, guests who arrive before 20:00 will receive a complimentary drink – a great reason to show up on time! Once you’re settled in, your host will introduce you to other guests and make sure everyone gets a chance to meet as many people as possible.
Our singles parties are casual and informal, offering a fantastic opportunity to meet and network with lovely single Londoners in a relaxed, fun environment. Your host will be there from start to finish, ensuring you meet everyone and making special introductions upon request. With over 80 guests, there’s plenty of time to make new connections, enjoy a couple of drinks, and soak up the great atmosphere!
After the evening concludes, you can access the event listing in your dashboard to enter feedback on those you have met and await your matches. A match is struck when two guests reciprocate identical feedback, indicating mutual intent to reconnect and enabling messaging via our online platform.

Ladies will be seated on tables adequately spaced, discreetly numbered, and arranged in a comfortable area of the venue. When speed dating commences, gents will join ladies for 5-minute dates to get to know one another. Your host will notify all guests at the end of each date, signalling for gents to move to the next table in ascending numerical order.
During table rotations, you will have a moment to record on note cards your feelings towards the previous date and intention to reconnect, for your reference only.
Mid-way through the evening, your host will indicate a 15-minute comfort break to use the rest room, head to the bar, or socialise with new connections. Dating will then resume for the second half of the evening.
At the end of the speed dating the bar will remain open for more socialising. You can then access the event listing in your dashboard to enter feedback on dates and await your matches.

Draughts is a super-fun concept bar located in the heart of Hackney, next to Dalston Kingsland Station and minutes from Dalston Junction Overground. This unique games-themed event unfolds in a private area of the venue, renowned for its contemporary vibe, unfussy drinks menu, and extensive games library. One of our most popular events, you will have a real blast meeting up to 15 potential matches at this light-hearted and wholesome evening.
This is a doubles speed dating event, so be prepared to get to know other single people in an entertaining and interactive way as you move between tables playing new and nostalgic games in groups of four. Designed for fun-loving singles booking individually or with friends, you will be welcomed by our host at 19:15 and have the chance to grab a drink from the bar before we begin.
Ladies will be paired and seated comfortably on tables with various board games. These are selected to be short in duration (approximately 12-minutes) and great for helping you break the ice as you get to know your fellow players.
