Hello, we're It's a Date - a London-based speed dating and singles events company. We’re professional icebreakers; reviving London’s dating scene with feel-good events, in awesome venues, with fun and charismatic hosts.
Personal experience and our single friends have taught us that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to finding love. It’s why we set to work redesigning dating events, creating opportunities for you to express yourself authentically and meet like-minded singles.

Our popular social Singles Party attracts a growing crowd of guests aged 40–65 each month. Meet up to 140 eligible Londoners in a fun, relaxed setting built for great conversation and easy introductions.
A few moments from King’s Cross station you will find Drake & Morgan, a trendy and cosmopolitan bar spread over two floors with a great atmosphere and eclectic crowd. We welcome around 140 guests for introductions and socialising in a private area reserved exclusively for It's a Date. For those who like a bit of dance floor action, the venue has a DJ keeping the energy high and good times flowing in the basement bar until late.
Your hosts will be at the venue ready to welcome you at 19:30. They will be wearing a big smile and easy to spot, but if you’re uncertain just ask one of the friendly bar team.
Hosts will indicate the area reserved exclusively for our event, offer you an optional name sticker, and direct you to where to leave your jacket. A complimentary welcome drink is offered to guests arriving before 20:00 – no better reason to arrive in good time!
When comfortable, your hosts will introduce you to other guests and aid group mingling. Singles parties are more casual and informal in structure – a great opportunity to meet and network with other like-minded single people in a relaxed and fun environment. Our hosts will be there from start to finish to ensure you have the chance to meet everyone and make any special introductions at your request.
With around 140 guests at every party, there is heaps of opportunity to make new connections, enjoy a couple of drinks, and soak up the atmosphere.
After the evening concludes, you can access the event listing in your dashboard to enter feedback on those you have met and await your matches. A match is struck when two guests reciprocate identical feedback; indicating mutual intent to reconnect and enabling messaging via our online platform.

Escape the ordinary at our popular Friday night speed dating event in the City. You will join 36 single guests in an intimate private space of this centrally located venue, just steps from Monument tube station. The Folly is a super-fun and lively environment with seasonal cocktails (we’d recommend the espresso martini), great service, and heaps of space to continue socialising after a busy evening of introductions.
Our host will be at the venue ready to welcome you at 19:30. Please arrive on time for registration, to grab any drinks from the bar, and receive a summary of how things will work. You will be given an optional name sticker, a pen, and note card to keep track of everyone you’ve met.
Ladies will be seated on tables adequately spaced, discreetly numbered, and arranged in a comfortable area of the venue. When speed dating commences, gents will join ladies for 5-minute dates to get to know one another. Your host will notify all guests at the end of each date, signalling for gents to move to the next table in ascending numerical order.
During table rotations you will have a moment to record on note cards your feelings towards the previous date and intention to reconnect, for your reference only.Mid-way through the evening, your host will indicate a 15-minute comfort break to use the rest room, head to the bar, or socialise with new connections. Dating will then resume for the second half of the evening.
At the end of the speed dating the bar will remain open for more socialising. You can then access the event listing in your dashboard to enter feedback on dates and await your matches.

Just steps from King’s Cross Underground and St Pancras stations, you’ll find Drake & Morgan — a trendy, informal venue with a easy-going daytime vibe—the perfect setting for coffee, conversations, and new connections.
Whether you’re an espresso enthusiast, a matcha man, or the queen of chamomile, your first cup’s on us at this event full of warm introductions and laid-back laughs. And if you’re feeling a little chai, don’t worry — our host will be on hand to help everyone feel at ease and enjoy a great morning.
You’ll be welcomed at 10:00, shown where to collect your complimentary cuppa, and given an optional name sticker, a pen, and a note card to track each of your dates. Our host will then give a quick introduction to explain how the event will unfold.
The set-up is simple: ladies will be seated at numbered tables, and when dating begins, gents will rotate every five minutes for a fresh new ‘shot’ at romance. Your host will guide each changeover to ensure everyone meets all attendees over the course of the morning.
About halfway through, there will be a 15-minute break — perfect for stretching your legs, topping up your drink, or chatting with fellow guests you haven’t yet met. After that, we’ll jump right back into the second round of dates.

Designed for guests aged 25 to 38 looking to connect(4) with fun-loving singles during a relaxed and informal board games inspired evening.
Draughts is a super-fun concept bar located in the iconic Leake Street Graffiti tunnel just steps away from Waterloo Station. This unique games-themed event is hosted in a private area of the venue – The Loft, with a contemporary vibe, beautifully exposed brickwork, and our own private bar.
This is a doubles speed dating event, so be prepared to get to know other single people in an entertaining and interactive way as you move between tables playing new and nostalgic games in groups of four. Designed for social singles booking individually or with friends, you will be welcomed by our host at 19:15 and have the chance to grab a drink from the bar before we begin.
Ladies will be paired and seated comfortably on tables with various board games. These are selected to be short in duration (approximately 12-minutes) and great for helping you break the ice as you get to know your fellow players. Gents will be invited to rotate around the tables in pairs, playing a variety of entertaining games, having no shortage of laughs along the way.
There will be a half-time comfort break and lots of opportunity to mingle with others in this informal yet lively setting.
Post-event matching will be available on your It’s a Date dashboard where you could find you’re on a winning streak in love as well as in Jenga!
