How to make sure you are getting emails from Meetup & IBO that you NEED

Not everyone gets emails from meetup that should be

Sometimes it happens just because the meetup email system sucks

Sometimes it happens because someone unsubscribed to meetup emails - if you turn off all emails from meetup you wont get any including important ones for events you are signed up for. If you don’t fix that, you won’t be coming on events. You need to at least be getting emails for events you are signed up for.

You also need to regularly check the email address you signed up to meetup with. If you used a burner email address, that’s not going to help you keep up with events you are going to.
Note: organizers do not know what your email address is or see which one you signed up with.

IF YOUR SETTINGS ARE CORRECT AND YOU ARE STILL NOT GETTING THE EMAILS YOU SHOULD, you need to contact meetup support and send them screenshots of your settings and tell them you are still not getting the emails you should be. Beyond showing you the settings, i cant help you more than that.
