FULL Lehigh River Tubing day! (bring your own tube)

FULL - Closing this for RSVPs because there won’t be enough parking otherwise - please change your RSVP to No if you aren’t coming

Join IBO as we tube the Lehigh River from Bowmanstown to Lehigh Gap

Meet at the Bowmanstown Boat Ramp (must google this, and see the pictures I posted) at 10am
we will shuttle as many cars to Lehigh Gap Boat Launch (google this) as we can (and bring the drivers back up)
While people are shuttling cars, others blow up tubes, load up our toys and drinks and snacks, then start to float by 11
*if your car is staying at the put-in, make sure to let others use your car for inflators and storage as needed
Parking at Bowmanstown can fill up quickly so make sure you're on time

Please have patience as the car shuttle process takes some time. If everyone is there at 10am, we should be floating by 11.

We are floating a 4 mile stretch and while the first half usually goes quick, the last mile can be slow - plan on 4-5 hours on the water to be safe, hopefully on the lesser side and we won't stop to play at all just to be sure.

Then when we get out, those with cars at the takeout will have to take drives back to the cars at the put-in. Please be willing to stay and drive people. Do not just leave if your car is at the take out.

Make sure to have enough water and sunscreen
make sure you can swim - if you can't swim, this isn't for you

You need to have your own tube...you can buy them on amazon or many other places. I recommend the Intex River Tube.

Tying together: keeping together is fun while we float but not always a great thing when we hit some rapids (and there will be some) so IF YOU WANT TO TIE TOGETHER, PLEASE USE A CARIBINER AS THEY CAN QUICKLY DETACH IF NEEDED - do NOT tie knots
