Join us for camping before we Whitewater Raft - sorry, but camping is only available for those that are rafting and our rafting time is EARLY this year so camping the night before is a good idea.

You DO need your own tent and food.

We've always had an awesome time camping whether it was the night before or after the rafting/hiking trips. There's always some kind of story to tell, trash talking going on, friendships made, alcohol flowing. Who knows what can happen.

Speaking of alcohol: it IS now allowed at WWC...but there are still quiet hours in effect after 11pm and they will be observed...anyone loud after 11 may not be coming with us again

Your spot is not secured until paid for. If the list is full and you haven't paid, your RSVP will be changed to a NO.

CAP POOLING IS ENCOURAGED! Feel free to post comments looking for or sharing a ride. I'll share a google sheet when it gets closer to help with carpooling

What to bring:
TENT, your own food for breakfast, lunch and dinner and any supplies need to cook/eat what you bring.
For those not so culinary inclined, there is a snack stand on site that you can buy coffee, snacks, ice cream, breakfast sandwiches and dinner options - all are extra cost and NOT included in the price to camp.
Be sure to bring bug spray, a reusable water bottle (water is available there to fill up), some kind of light for walking to the bathroom at night (I HIGHLY recommend a headlamp and one with a red light instead of or in addition to a bright white light), and a camp chair

Remember: this is RAIN OR SHINE and refunds can't be given after July 20 unless someone takes your spot so bring any weather appropriate clothing. IF the forecast does call for rain, bring rain gear and if you have extra tarps or pop up canopies, they would be great to bring.

For those unfamiliar with this campground, we are at the Whitewater Challengers basecamp, so we leave for rafting right from near the campgrounds. There is a snack stand on-site that serves food like 7 or 8am until like 7-8pm. Each campsite holds about 10 people/tents and each site has a picnic table and fire ring. You will be able to park your car right next to (or close to) your tent and picnic table.

Space is first come first served - we'll have like 8 large campsites for our group so when you arrive, find a spot to park and pick a spot to set up your tent, nothing is designated ahead of time.
We'll have to squeeze like 70+ people in so carpooling is an important option. As well as being creative with parking.
And we'll be sharing fire rings for those that want to cook over a fire so sometimes 10 people will be trying to cook over 1 fire - it's ok, or you can use a different fire and spread out.
There'll be one site designated as the 'late night site' so if you plan on going to bed early, don't set up near this site (probably near the middle of all of our sites).
