RiverFest at Glen Foerd! BYO SUP or kayak to watch the races!

Glen Foerd is a mansion on the Delaware - it's a popular wedding venue but they also have a boat launch and are looking to have a regatta on Sunday July 13
I'm working with our member Gerry as he is affiliated with the event.

They are also offering FREE kayak and SUP rentals ("borrowing") for people to use
They are also recruiting people to actively participate in races

I am posting 2 events for this day: one to "borrow" a SUP or kayak OR actually participate and race in the regatta, and one to just paddle around and watch the races.
"borrowers" don't have to race, but they can if they want to

BYO people: We can't put in where the races start since it will be too crowded
We will meet at the boat launch at the end of Herringbone Lane (where it meets Station Ave, see map pin and pics I posted) at 2:30 and start paddling by 3, just catch up if you're late

We are going to paddle south along the Delaware River about a mile or so to watch the races and hang out (bring snacks and beverages) just south of Mud Island
Plan for about an hour paddle (hopefully less)
and about 2 hours to hang out, in and out of the water (we may pull over to the shore just north of Glen Foerd)
and then about an hour paddle back
(or stay as little or as late as you want beyond that)

after we are done paddling, we should be able to get food at the food trucks that will be at Glen Foerd

The parking lot is at the end of Herringbone Lane, follow the road into the parking lot, boat launch is there. There is no physical address that I have for this or an official name of the boat launch that I can find. You can use 201 Herringbone Lane Bensalem to get you close but 201 is not the actual address (that's someone's house haha).
