Supersoaker Battle on the Parkway!

All 3 fountains in Eakins Oval are flowing again...
and that means the SUPER SOAKER BATTLE ON THE PARKWAY is back!

Grab your super soakers and get ready to spray each other for about 1 1/2 - 2 hours using the water in the fountains as ammo

We'll meet on the Washington Monument in Eakins Oval across the street from the Art Museum - look for the IBO flag, IBO shirts and others with big ass water guns

when we get bored of that, we can hit the beer garden that's there

Kids are welcome for this one (but not in the beer garden)

Germaphobes may want to sit this one out

WILL CANCEL FOR RAIN/DRIZZLE, BUT go with clouds (wear sunscreen)

Make sure you get big ass water guns...you don't want no weak whimpy squirt gun for this!

I don't know how to describe it other than 80 people running around with big ass water guns squirting each other for a bit - take a look at some of the pics I posted if you are still not sure what this is

Only rule is don't squirt the tourists or other non-participants
or any police that stop by - they've never bothered us before, they are more curious than anything, but all should be fine

and for safety's sake, make sure you water gun looks like a water gun...no water guns that resemble a real gun

yes, other water devices are ok - buckets, reuseable water ballons, etc...I would suggest not using real water balloons due to the trash factor
