Riverfest at Glen Foerd: Free rentals and racers wanted!

Glen Foerd Riverfest & Exciting New Races!

I'm working with our member Gerry who is affiliated with the Regatta.

RACES:
Come join us for the 2025 Glen Foerd Riverfest taking place between 3:00PM and 7:00PM on Sunday July 13th . See the website below to see all of the activities planned.
An additional feature of the Riverfest this year are races on the river. Racers will compete one-on-one, in one of three watercraft categories: SUP, Kayaks and (new to the river) Catamaran Rowers. Racing craft will be provided for competitors for a two leg, out and back race format. Each leg is ½ mile. This is a new event so race scheduling is TBD. You will know your race time after sign-up ends on July 11th or sooner if events fill up. The goal of this inaugural year is to have 9 to 12 races. Event
registration is optional, but, if you are interested in racing you have to let Glen Foerd know by registering at www.glenfoerd.org/event/2025/7/13/riverfest
and send a note to Tina on the registration page indicating your watercraft, age (under 18 or open), and gender classification. If you are an experienced racer, please note that too, with some race history. Since this is a first-time event, organizers will appreciate your understanding with race pairings.
Glen Foerd waivers required on race day. There is no athlete entry fee.
