UPDATED (3-9-26)
RAIN OR SHINE!

We will be cleaning up the Palmyra Cove area and Palmyra Cove Nature Center
And like years past at Burlington Island, we will be working with Spearhead Project Earth

All participants need to sign the waiver ahead of time: https://projectearth.wufoo.com/forms/zvkl8a10btgij4/

The Plan will be (and still possible modification):
Meet at the PUT IN spot at 11am, get kayaks and SUPs ready
Paddle out the Pennsauken Creek to the Delaware River at noon
paddle into and around Palmyra Cove
We'll be cleaning up the shoreline between the Palmya Cove entrance on the Delaware and the Palmyra Cove Nature Center
Volunteer clean up approx: 1:30 - 3:30
hiking around the cove and nature center 3:30/4 - 4:30/5
then going for food/drink afterwards at 5 West Palmyra restaurant

NO rentals available - BYO (bring your own) only
paddleboards and kayaks

There will be a Pontoon boat available for up to 10 volunteers to join us without a kayak or paddleboard - first 10 to message me about getting on the Pontoon boat get the spots - because this is limited, please only message me about a spot if you are 100% coming. If you tell me you want a spot on the pontoon boat and cancel that morning, I may remove you from the group
(and if you cancelled on it last year, you are definitely not coming this year)

Clean up gear like trash bags, trash cans, gloves, trash pickers and water will be provided
BUT PLEASE DRESS APPROPRIATELY...long sleaves, long pants, bug spray, sunscreen
and a change of clothing with a trash bag to put them in

last year several people found ticks on themselves so please be careful and plan ahead
and check yourselves immediately afterwards
and do laundry right away when you get home

Meeting/Shuttle plan:
We are meeting at YESWAY Logistics just off of NJ-73 in Palmyra. The put-in to the creek is in the back. We will get our kayaks ready back there, then shuttle cars to the take out at the Palmyra Cove Nature Center. Then go back, put in, and paddle out the creek to the river and then north toward the cove, clean up area and back to the Nature Center. We'll have to shuttle afterwards too to get people back to their cars. But they are only 3 min apart.

On the Pontoon:
Jen P
