Halloween Camping Party! with live DJ

I know this is early for a Halloween Party but consider it a
"Halloween Kickoff Party!" or "Scary Season Kickoff" for those that love Halloween like I do

yes, this is the same campground we use when we go rafting...
no rafting needed this time

RAIN OR SHINE: check the weather ahead of time and come prepared, if it does rain, we will have a covered pavilion option to use and canopies

We'll have some fun fall activities during the afternoon like
decorating the campsite for the party with fun and scary decorations
pumpkin carving (BYO pumpkin and knives)
pumpkin ring toss
other games (more to come)

LIVE DJ:
from 7-8pm we'll play cheesy Halloween party music like Monster Mash, Ghostbusters and more
then we'll do some more standard dance music from 8-11
music needs to end by 11 though

arrive anytime after 12 on Saturday, I suggest at least trying to get there before dark if you can

COSTUMES! not required, but highly encouraged

POTLUCK - everyone bring something to share, you don't need enough for 50, just enough for like 6-10
Bring whatever you want, just don't come empty handed
POTLUCK RULE - CLEAN UP YOUR STUFF!
before you go to bed, you need to make sure whatever you brought, gets packed up - no food should be left out over night
*People always say stuff like "well, someone will eat it..." and then leave it out...NO....put your stuff away before you call it a night

THIS IS A PARTY ENVIRONMENT -PLEASE COME TO JOIN IN THE FUN
sometimes camping is chill, quiet, people do their own thing - not this time, if you sign up, please plan to participate in activities, dancing, etc
(you don't need to drink if you don't want, but don't hide at your tent)

There are real bathrooms, and showers, at the campground
along with a camp store and even snack stand

You need your own tent and drinks

It's early October so it should be nice but be prepared in case it gets cold

Yes, we are camping at the Whitewater Challengers base camp, where we raft in August. Because it's big, lots of space, has bathrooms on site and they love us and will actually let us do it
