Paddle on Beltzville Lake - BYO SUP/kayak
Details
Many people will be camping Saturday night after rafting in the Poconos so let's take advantage while we're up north and paddle on Beltzville Lake while we're there.
Anyone is welcome to join though - you don't have to raft or camp with us to paddle on Sunday with us
but you do need to Bring Your Own kayak or Standup Paddleboard
there are no rentals available here
WILL CANCEL FOR RAIN - check the forecast and comments for updates
Meet at the Preachers Camp parking lot at noon
we'll paddle by 12:30 - if you are late, just catch up
if you know you take more than 30 minutes to get ready, maybe arrive earlier
We'll paddle around, no specific plan, find a waterfall if we can, etc
plan to paddle/be on the water for about 2-3 hours with breaks
What to bring (besides your own kayak or SUP):
water, snacks, sunscreen, water toys
Google "Preachers Camp Boat Launch" at Beltzville Lake - we'll be setting our boats up near the launch - look for the ITS BETTER OUTDOORS flag and some IBO shirts
