Read-a-thon Silent Book club

This bring-your-own book club is a fun chill way to get through that pile of books you have and make some new friends on the way.

We meet at the Sunrise Grind at Eagle Glen. If you can, please make a purchase to help support the location and make a good impression.

Just bring your book to read or if you want to write you can bring a notebook or a laptop, we will spend about 15 minutes getting settled, and if you can buy something, a drink or snack or even just a waterbottle $2. that would be great.

At 6:15 I will start us to read. We will read in silence for about an hour and a half you can listen to music or audiobook through headphones if you please.

At around 7:30 I'll call the timer, and we might be kicked outside if we go longer than 8. If you want to stay, no pressure we will each talk just a little about what we read or wrote and get to know each other, or you can take off whenever you want. I try to come up with a funny question for everyone to share.

as the weather gets warmer, we may sit outside from the start.

Younger readers are welcome, but anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a corresponding adult. And this is a public group, so adult language and subject matter may come up in book discussion. Just a warning.
