Indicative itinerary and optional day trips :

Wednesday, 16th July : Meeting-up at the airport in time for dinner in a local tavern in Skiathos with local delicacies of the island and get the first glimpse of the town by the sea by night.

Thursday, 17th July: A day trip around Skiathos island. We are visiting traditional villages and historical monasteries, of major importance and the religious local tradition, built in the early 1800s. Enjoying swimming in Koukounaries beach, soaking up its perfect beauty. Chances are you may have seen this name featured among the most beautiful beaches in the world thanks to its fine sand and mesmerizing crystal clear waters as the fragrant pine-tree forest hugging the shore, creating a unique synthesis of emerald, golden, and bright blue hues.

Friday, 18th July : Visiting the stunning, off the beaten main tourist track, Skopelos & Alonissos islands on a day trip with local boats where part of the Mamma Mia movie was filmed, renown for their unparalleled natural beauty as well as Alonissos National Marine Park, the largest marine protected area in Europe! While cruising around the island’s turquoise waters, keeping your eyes peeled for dolphins, turtles and the rarely spotted monk seal! We spent a couple of hours in each island's picturesque main town.

Saturday, 19th July : Day trip around the island to sea amazing rock formations, sea caves and beaches that can not be reached by land, swim in Lalaria beach, one of the most photographed beaches in the world.

Sundays 20th July : We are visiting Bourtzi, a tiny peninsula separating the old from the new port of Skiathos with its 13th century fortress, go swimming and enjoy the well organised beach bars with sun beds & music, offering the famous greek upmarket culinary experiences, 'as a local' on a mid summer holi-day!
