Saturday, 18th October : Take a morning flight if you can and make the most of the day. Meet up at the hotel and head for a walking tour with a local guide. Explore the Vieux Port, the maritime heart of Marseille, Le Panier's historic colourful streets, the Fort Saint-Jean, the Palais Longchamp and as much as we can, taking breaks for cafe & croissant of course!

Sunday, 19th October : An optional day trip by public transport to Aix en Provence to be fully immersed in its charming old town, the boutique shops, outdoor cafes, book stores and open farmers market.

Monday, 20th October : Try catch an evening flight and make the most of your day in Marseille, enjoying local delicacies such as orange blossom cookies and bouillabaisse, decide which scents of the magnificent renown soaps are going with you, explore the stunning Notre-Dame de la Garde basilica for panoramic views or visit the state of the art Mucem, the modern Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations.
