Fredericksburg Peach Festival at Grapetown Vineyard and Farm

The Fredericksburg Peach Festival at Grapetown Vineyard and Farm in Fredericksburg Texas is always a blast! Let’s enjoy a fun-filled day of award winning wines on a working farm with safari animals galore while enjoying live music, delicious peaches, vendors, activities, and of course wine tasting! Their farm stand will have peach pie, peach wines, even peach BBQ. The main bar serves peach inspired drinks and more! Enjoy peaches from their small Peach Orchard plus Fredericksburg’s orchards (and beyond) and eat your way through the afternoon enjoying all things peach!

Ticket prices vary online with General Admission at $20.00 plus a $1.79 fee, and $1.80 sales tax (23.59 total).
2 for 1 general admission is available for the low price of $12.33.
If you want to do their wine tasting (and why wouldn’t you lol), you need to book their VIP Peach Pass.
It Includes a wine tasting and a peach meal. The cost is $40 plus 42.59 fee and $3.51 sales tax ($46.10 total).
A kid’s pass is also available for $12.33 total, it is a very kid-friendly event.
Parking is not free at the event but it is only $6.70 total online.
Note: it will be $20 per car at the gate if you do not purchase a pre-paid ticket!

The Hot Air Balloon festival will take place on the grounds at the same time. I attended it before and was not too impressed, only a few balloons, very hot due to lack of shade, and pricey to attend. Pretty sure we will be able to see the balloons from our vantage point. I prefer to take in the peach festival mixed with wine tasting and checking out the many safari animals in back of the winery. There are safari tours you can take too if you pre-pay but not recommended in the summer heat. That’s another event we can do next time in the fall.
