About us
Advanced Writers Group is a spin-off of the Inner West Writers’ Group, meeting weekly after the main IWWG session from 12:30 pm onwards, alternating between Marrickville Library and Zoom.
Originally established as a spec-fic group for genre writers seeking a niche space, the group has now evolved into an advanced writers’ group open to all IWWG members who are deep into a manuscript and looking for focused feedback.
This group is intended for writers who are actively developing an existing manuscript rather than starting a new project. To join, we ask that you are a regular attendee of IWWG, have a working manuscript, and agree to the group guidelines.
We welcome writers who are looking to commit to the group on a regular basis. We do not expect attendance at every session, but the group works best when members attend consistently enough to become familiar with one another’s work over time. That continuity allows for deeper feedback, stronger discussion, and a more useful experience for everyone.
