Climate author and co-founder of 350.org Bill McKibben has good news for once. His new book “Here Comes the Sun” shows the magnitude and potential of the solar energy revolution that’s unfolding worldwide. After viewing a recent recording of Bill speaking to MSNBC’s Chris Hayes we’ll hear from NREL solar pioneer Keith Emery who will lead a discussion.

This event is also listed as part of SunDay.earth, a national day of actions and events around solar solutions, in addition to our monthly events.

Our regular event is that same week, Thursday, Sept 25, 7pm:
Mike Nelson – The Great American Super-Grid

Ample free parking right outside. Wheelchair accessible, and we have assisted listening devices.
We're about a mile west of the I-70 exit at Youngfield/32nd Ave (Applewood).
