Save the Renewable Energy Mission of the Lab!
Details
The Trump regime’s assault against renewable energy and climate research has again escalated, cutting “Renewable Energy” out of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s name and attempting to eviscerate its mission and erase its half century of achievements.
Join us for this town hall and panel of speakers to save NREL’s crucial mission and to hold up its immense value to the region and the world. CRES often features researchers from NREL and countless members have a connection. In fact, our co-founder Dr. Ron Larson spearheaded legislation to create NREL’s predecessor, the Solar Energy Research Institute (SERI).
We have several knowledgeable presenters lined up but there will be ample time for comments and strategic ideas as we aim to start a grassroots solidarity campaign. We welcome private anonymous comments to [jcres@cres-energy.org](mailto:jcres@cres-energy.org) but let us know if it can be shared or read aloud.
Stay for food, drinks, conversations, and organizing afterwards.
A zoom link will appear here closer to the event date.
Please share, we need this to be big to create an impact.
