Let's enjoy the start of the weekend with a KARAOKE NIGHT.

Let's meet at Pos Bloc and enjoy their Karaoke Ubeatz. It's a Karaoke with small cozy cabins and food options. Prices are very reasonable. The more we are, the less it will cost!

There is two Karaoke Ubeatz in Pos Bloc. Find the one at the top of narrow stairs at the internal court just at the right side of the main entrance. In case of doubt, just write in the chat!

This is a joint event of Jakarta Creatives & Jakarta Friends! Let's get together and enjoy some social time with friends. Newcomers are very welcome.

We can reserve several cabins and mingle, while getting some foods and drinks delivered to our cabin or around the Pos Bloc area, which has plenty of stores.

This event costs only 5 USD (about 80k IDR) for members of Jakarta Creatives, with an early bird price of 3 USD (50k IDR) for people who secure their spot at the latest on the Sunday before the event. Tickets are refundable. This contribution gets towards the time and efforts needed to organise these kind of events.

People who are waiting for their turn to sing can enjoy the Pos Bloc area and get some food and drink while waiting. Arrive on time to secure your spot! Places for this event are limited. Secure your spot today!

Everyone will pay what they consume. We will split Karaoke costs fairly among all participants.

• Your registration for this event is not complete until you transfer the registration fee
• The sum is fully refundable if you cancel RSVP at least 48h before the event, or if you are in the waitlist and cannot join us
• You are welcome to bring friends/family/partner to this event! You will need to transfer for them too.
• You can transfer the amount if you are in the waitlist. When spots get free, you will automatically get a spot. If you remain in the waitlist, you will get the refund.

What are fungi (jamur jamur)? what do they do? and what does it mean "to become fungal"?

Let's have a BOOK DISCUSSION together of "Let's become fungal!" by Yasmine Ostendorf-Rodriguez in honor of International Microorganism Day.

The book offer examples of what are fungi and what can people do with and learn form them. What's special about the book is that is provides examples, for communities of practice, to come together and experiment or think with fungal mycelium.

We will explore fun examples and chat together! The educational aspect (learning about fungi!) will have a strong component. But then we can chat about how fungi could help us as a community, be it in artistic practices, DIY, community resilience and creativity, or small business entrepreneurship.

I guess you haven't given much thoughts about microbes and fungi yet. Or perhaps you have and want to have an in-depth chat about this with like-minded nerds. Join us!

No prior knowledge is required. You just need to read a few chapters (shared with everyone beforehand) of the book to participate in the discussion. See also the uploaded pic to see a list of chapters.

But if you don't manage to read them and just want to join, no problem! The organiser (PhD in fungal ecology, MSc in microbiology) will give a fun and accessible introduction to the topic.

This event is totally for FREE. Just pay whatever you consume at the venue.
