Jakarta Friends is the community to meet new people while doing unique activities in Jakarta. We play board games, talk business, socialize, eat and drink together, do language exchanges, explore the city by walking and culinary tours, and much more! It's all about authentic connections in an uncomplicated and informal setting.

Together, we are creating an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome. This group is a convergence of people and cultures.
Over the past 1,5 year, we have had more than 150 events with over 1,500 attendees. Everyone should always feel welcome to join disregarding from their ethnicity, nationality, religion, creed, age, language skills, gender identification, sexual orientation, background, ability, income, social status, or any other arbitrary trait.
From September 2024, we have a yearly membership fee to join our events. The membership fee is not expensive and gives access to all events + exclusive perks! There's so much more value to members than having an event fee. We guarantee keep organising plenty of events and the fee is refundable if the group closes down or if there are no events for more than three months. You can attend the first event for free and take a look!

There's no business without business networking... it's all about connecting, learning from each other & getting inpired.This event is FOR EVERYONE who is doing any kind of business in Jakarta or online. Let's get together and have a BUSINESS SPEED NETWORKING (Vol. VIII)
The setting is very simple: We will meet and sit together. It's like a speed dating session, but the topic is business! Everyone will ge the chance to talk with as many people as possible. Everyone will have about 3 minutes to give an elevator pitch about their business/story/project/idea to every person they talk to! After the 2h session is over, we will mingle and connect. Are you reay to bring your business idea to the next level?
The language will be in English. Your English doesn't have to be perfect, just good enough for people to understand you. This is your change to improve your business English and to promote yourself and your great ideas, business, and projects!
Enterpreneurs, creatives, start-uppers, local business owners, professionals with big dreams and bold plans are very welcome to join in this informal business networking.

ABOUT THE VENUE
We will meet at Cipete Forest, just around the corner of MRT Cipete Raya, then find together a quite place to sit. Last time we did at CIpete Forest in August 2024 (see pictures here) we sat down at the steakhouse terrace and had a lovely time. Please order at least one drink at the venue for respect for our hosts!HOW TO REGISTER TO THE EVENT?

- Come with a business suit, if you want to (although this is not mandatory!), but most importantly: come with a smile and clear goal of what you want to achieve. And don't forget to bring your business cards!
- Be on time! We need to start this business networking session together. Latecomers cannot be accomodated.
- People in the waitlist cannot attend, and are encouraged to check a few hours before the event if they got a spot
- Repeated no-show (3X) without updating RSVP will be removed from the group.

Its'Friday evening... time to relax! Join Jakarta Friends for a fun evening of POOL/BILLIARD playing.Don't hold back if you just played a few times before, or never before! All levels of playing are most welcome.
Depending on how many people will show up, we will book one or more tables. Costs are splitting accordingly. Be on time to reserve one (or more) table together.
The best setting is perhaps four persons per table, and we can rotate so everyone has the chance to play with different people.
Come alone or with a plus 1. Newcomers are particularly welcomed! For any questions, ask in the comment section of this event.
After playing for about 2 hours, we can stay or go somewhere nearby for a drink, beer, or ice tea.

Calling out for all board gamers to play together!The idea is very simple: We meet and we play board games! All levels of experience playing board games are welcome. Feel free to bring your own games, if you want to. Newcomers are very welcome.
This event will be at Muyen Coffee and Roastery Tebet. Just pay for your own food and drink. (We will ask for a split bill)
The host is an experienced board gamer and has many options ready for you to play with!

ABOUT THE EVENT
Just a casual Friday night strolling around Jalan H Agus Salim. They have delicious and affordable saté (chicken, beef, goat, pedas pedas), many café (amongst the oldest in town!), bars, street food.Come and leave anytime. We meet at 8 PM at the corner of Jl. H. Agus Salim & Jl. K.H. Wahid Hasyim and have the first Saté bite of the night. Then we will stroll around and find together places to sit, chill, enjoy the start of the weekend.
We will move around throughout the night or find the best spot and sit down there like lazy pandas. We can stay in one big group or split up into sevaral smaller ones, and regroup at any time again.
