Our certified coaches will guide you through the basics of the game and help you to develop your technique and strategy. We will begin our jog/run from Anchorvale CC towards Punggol using Sengkang Riverside Park running route, U-turn back to Anchorvale CC once we hit 2.5KM mark (Total distance 5KM) After that, we will end our run @ Anchorvale Village Hawker Centre to mingle and chit chat (No obligation to join for post run session) Notes: ► As there is no storage space for your belongings, do travel light. ► We will do a warm-up at 7.30PM and the run will start at 7.45PM sharp. ► This is a rain-or-shine event. Bring a change of clothes, a towel, a hat, non-marking footwear with heelstrap and sunblock. There is a toilet and drinking water on board. Participants like to contribute to expenses in appreciation of this opportunity. **Also**, please confirm your attendance by SMS or Whatsapp on Saturday for sailing on Sunday, to avoid no-shows and missed sailings. No-shows deprive others of a place, so be responsible and remove your reservation if you are not attending, and please do it in good time. Welcome, readers! Our May read is **_Kindred_ by Octavia E. Butler.** The story follows Dana, a Black woman living in 1976 California, who is suddenly pulled back to a Maryland plantation before the Civil War. She learns her survival is tied to a white slaveholder’s son. Forced to move between centuries, she must endure the brutal realities of slavery while fighting to hold on to her identity. Tense, intimate, and unforgettable, Kindred explores how the past refuses to stay buried. Looking forward to discussing with everyone!
