Do you like good music? That sweet soul music? Jax seems to lack bands that play funk, soul, r&b, jazz and the like. I'd like to gather a group that is interested in these genres.
Are you a budding musician but don't know where to start? Do you have music skills, or at a loss as to how to utilize your skills?
Are you a higher level musician that doesn't mind sharing your knowledge with others or just want to jam? Join us.
From supporting local musicians and open mics, to creating workshops, sharing knowledge in low pressure jam sessions where musicians can cut their teeth and grow. The group will basically have 3 types of events. Hangouts -No instruments needed, Jam sessions - Yes instruments and Workshops - Maybe instruments.
This group hopes to bring together and support musicians at all stages of their musical journey.
