Europe On Screen 2024 - Mamacruz (Spain, 83 minutes, 2023, PG17+)

Jakarta Creatives is inviting everyone to join the screening of Mamacruz (Spain, 2023) at this year's Europe on Screen

When a religious grandmother learns how to use the internet, she accidentally comes across pornography. With her new sexual awakening, how will she align with her beliefs?

This a Drama/Comedy (PG 17+) movie that got nominated in Sundance Film Festival 2023 (Grand Jury Prize), and won Best Director at 2024 Carmen Award.

The event is FREE and will be held at the French Institute in Thamrin. We will meet at the ticket counter, get our tickets individually, and find places to sit together.

Afterwards, everyone who is interested in getting to know like-minded Jakarta Creatives is invited to gather together at a place nearby to have coffee - etc and chat about the movie and anything else.

Be on time! Latecomers will not be able to sit with us and might not be allowed to entry the cinema anymore. Places for this event are very limited as it is not clear how big and crowded the space will be.
It is crucial that everyone update their RSVP at least 24h before the event to allow people in the wait list to join. People in the wait list are encouraged to check 24h before the event.
