Winter Walk at Mid-Lothian Mines Park 1.8 miles

Let's take a walk at Mid-Lothian Mines park. The loop around the lake plus the out-and-back to the Coal Mine Ruins totals about 1.8 miles. There is a little bit of history to see here. You'd never think of Coal Mining in central VA. More info at https://www.midlomines.org/historic-overview.html

Wear sturdy walking shoes (trails are mostly asphalt or gravel) and dress for the weather in layers. Bring your water bottle.

Keep an eye on the weather, the walk will be cancelled if it is rainy.
