👫 How We Meet
One small group, hosted by the Gappy crew, so nobody gets lost in a crowd. Walking side by side beats sitting across a table. Talk flows, silence is fine too. No need for perfect English. We mix English and Japanese and help each other out. ✨ The Walk From Yoyogi we enter the forest by the North Approach, pass the main shrine, stroll the Inner Garden, then the sake-barrel display and on to Harajuku. Shrine etiquette, the giant torii, the barrels: each might spark a "wait, what's that?" chat. Along the way we swap first impressions of Tokyo. Voices go quiet in worship areas. Joining the prayers is optional.
