This is a Japanese speakers meet up in Georgetown, TX!
We meet outside out back of Lamppost coffee. Simply walk straight through the building to the backdoor and you'll see tables out back. The business closes at 9PM, so we should wrap up by 8:50.
There's a free parking lot a block south of the establishment.
PAYMENT: Since we are using business property, we ask you purchase something from the establishment. $5 should cover most drinks. Coffee, teas (black and matcha), and sodas are available as well as baked goods.
We are open to speakers of many levels, including beginners, BUT you need to know hiragana (and hopefully katakana).
A great book for self study is Kazki Watanabe's "Japanese For Dogs".
