Japanese Café Talk: Casual Language & Culture Exchange
Details
Japanese Café Talk: Language & Culture Exchange
Join us for a relaxed weekend café meetup where we can casually talk about Japanese language, English, Japanese culture, Asian culture, food, travel, local life, and hobbies.
Unlike our Friday Nomikai event, this is a non-alcohol café meetup focused on relaxed conversation and cultural exchange.
This event is for people who are learning Japanese, interested in Japanese culture, want to practice English or Japanese, or simply want to make new friends and local connections in Phoenix.
This is not a formal class or lecture.
It is a casual conversation-based Language & Culture Exchange.
Beginners are welcome, and you do not need to speak Japanese fluently.
Most conversations will be in English and Japanese.
Café Note:
This event will be held at a café.
There will be no alcohol at this event, but please support the café by ordering at least one drink or food item.
Because café seating is limited, this will be a small event with a maximum of 10 attendees.
RSVP:
Please RSVP only if you can attend.
If you can no longer make it, please update your RSVP as early as possible.
Since this is a small event, repeated no-shows may affect future attendance approval.
Atmosphere:
This event is not limited to people in their 20s and 30s, but it is intended to be a respectful adults-only social event.
This is not a pickup, sales, MLM, investment, or religious recruiting event.
Please be respectful and mindful of other people’s boundaries.
Japanese Café Talk is usually held at different cafés, bakeries, and pastry shops around Phoenix.
The idea is to enjoy coffee, pastries, and casual conversation while exploring new local spots together.
