### What is Nomikai?
“Nomikai” is a Japanese after-work social gathering where people enjoy drinks, food, and casual conversation.
This meetup is a relaxed way to bring that atmosphere to Phoenix. We’ll meet at a bar or casual restaurant, order a drink or food item, and enjoy friendly conversation about Japan, Asian culture, food, travel, Phoenix life, hobbies, and anything light and fun.
People from all backgrounds are welcome, especially those who are respectful and interested in Japanese or Asian cultures.
There is no formal agenda. The goal is simply to meet respectful new people, make friends, and build natural local connections.
