Let's enjoy Hydrangea - at Minamisawa Ajisai-yama in Akiruno-city!

Minamisawa-Ajisai-yama is a popular Hydrangea spot located in Akiruno-city, Tokyo. The landowner had been planting and taking care of the hydrangeas for over 50 years. We will walk through more than 15,000 shrubs of hydrangeas in the path.

This is A WALKING/HIKING EVENT, and it takes about a 45 minutes walk one direction from the station to our destination, Minamisawa-Ajisai-yama. And then we will walk through the hydrangeas in the garden path (it may take 1.5 hours). After we enjoy the hydrangeas, we will take a short walk in the area and then walking back to the station.

◆ The date of this event may change depending on the hydrangers blossom situation. I will inform you if any changes.

【HOW TO MEET US】
10:00 am JR Musashi-Itsukaichi station　(JC86)
If you come from Tokyo city, please take the 9:16 train from Tachikawa that is for "Musashi-Ituskaichi" station. (Haijima station at 9:29, arrives at Musashi-Itsukaichi station at 9:48).

【COST】
・Ajisaiyama entrance fee: 600yen
・Meetup dues: 600yen

・Please wear comfortable shoes! (recommend:walking or hiking shoes)
・Please bring enough drink/water and small snacks/lunch with you.

あきる野市深沢にある「南沢あじさい山」は南沢さんの個人の山で、20株の植樹から始まりました。現在まで50年以上かけて植えた沢山の種類の紫陽花約１万５千株が、山の斜面一面に広がります。

このMeetupはウォーキング/ハイキングイベントです。武蔵五日市駅から南沢あじさい山まで約45分歩きます。あじさい山では、傾斜のある山の中を紫陽花鑑賞し(約90分)、その後周辺を散策し駅へ向かい歩きます。
