Creative Urban Photography in the Mile High City

Join me in Denver, Colorado for a fun and educational photography weekend. Our subject will be the area around the beautiful downtown area. My focus on this trip is to show you creative ways of capturing urban photos, including twilight/blue hour, long exposures, car trails, urban art, and more. We will have lots of creative photo walks around Denver to explore the hidden gems in the city. We'll look for reflections, street art, and try different capture techniques such as multiple exposures and creative light painting.

Locations Include:

• Colorado State Capitol & Courthouse (by day and night)

• Denver Art Museum (admission included)

• Denver Botanic Gardens (admission included)

• Street Art in the RINO district

• 16th Street Promenade

• Union Station (Night Shoot)

• Sunrise at City Park

What's Included & How to Register

The workshop fee of $479 per person includes three days of personalized field & classroom instruction, image review and critique, and general adult admission to the Denver Art Museum and Botanic Gardens. Lodging and transportation are not included; many of our locations will be within a modest walk (or short cab ride) from the group hotel.

Group Hotel: Residence Inn by Marriott Denver City Center

I have arranged for us to stay right in the middle of downtown Denver within walking distance to most of our shooting locations at the Residence Inn by Marriott Denver City Center. This hotel is not only conveniently located, but has a rooftop lounge where we can get some great views of the city. Group rooms are queen suites with kitchenettes and a living area. Parking is available on-site for $31 per day. If you do not choose to stay at the group hotel, it will be your responsibility to meet us there for the group events each day.

You must book room(s) by August 23, 2016 to ensure the group rate of $164/night + tax
