Jeong Together | connect internationally & intentionally

This is the second meetup in a new series in this group called "Present and Connected." Each gathering centers around doing something together in a calm way, think a game, a creative session, or something else, not a high energy activity, but something that lets you actually be present with the people around you. Afterward we take time to reflect on what we just did and how it made us feel. Sometimes that's a quiet moment of reflection on your own, and sometimes it turns into opening up and sharing more directly about who we are and how we're feeling.

We'll be playing the question card game 'We're Not Really Strangers'. You take turns drawing cards and answering questions together in small groups. It moves through three levels: the first is about first impressions and the assumptions we make about each other, the second goes into personal history, beliefs, and the things that don't usually come up in everyday conversation, and the third looks back at what you picked up about each other and yourself along the way.

This time the theme is 'Letting Go', very fitting as we head into autumn, the season that's all about letting go, just look at the trees. Expect questions about what you've had to let go of over the years, or maybe still need to, whether that's an old habit, a version of yourself you've outgrown, another person or a plan that didn't turn out the way you expected. Every future meetup gets its own theme like this, so there's always something new to dig into and talk about even if you've been before.

The location will be somewhere in Utrecht and will be announced closer to the meetup date.

The autumn season is here and our cafe crawls couldn't have a better, cozier vibe. 🍂

This time we're spending a Thursday evening in the city center to explore three beautiful cafes/bars there. At each stop we'll sit down, enjoy something to eat or drink, and get to know the people around us. You'll be put in small groups that switch a few times, so by the end you'll have had genuine conversations with a good mix of people.

How it works: We walk, we discover, we eat something delicious, and we meet new people. The focus is on being in the moment, enjoying the city, and good company.

Now that autumn is here, it's a good time to look back on the summer and set intentions for the season of falling leaves. I'm a firm believer in drawing both inspiration and lessons from what nature shows us throughout the different seasons.

What parts of your past summer reflected the nature of summer? What did you enjoy, and what helped you grow? And how does everything you've experienced shape the way you want to move through autumn? What do you want to focus on, and how do you simply want to be in this new season?

With the help of a few reflective prompts, we'll explore these questions together. It might lead to a deeper connection with others, or you might simply realize something new through sharing your own experiences and hearing someone else's.

Let's play some glow in the dark mini golf together!🏌️ For this adventure we travel to the beautiful nearby town of Woerden and explore this fun game. It doesn't matter if it's your first time playing or if you have already done this before.

We'll be playing at Fabriek Woerden. There's an indoor course with 18 holes in glow in the dark style so it's a bit more playful and creative than your average mini golf.

Please know, it's totally fine if you've never played this game before. Even children play it, so honestly anyone can join in. And in the end, we're just doing this to have a fun time together.
The location is an indoor game hall, so no need to worry about the weather messing with our plans.

Just a heads up, this is a PAID EVENT, so please read on 💸
I have to reserve and pay in advance, so make sure to arrive on time. I'm asking everyone who joins to also transfer their part in advance, that's around 16 euros per person (including one drink). I will send a message with a payment link, so you can await that. If you sign up but end up not being able to make it, please give your spot to someone on the waiting list instead.

One last tip: to make the glow in the dark effect extra nice and visible, wear something white!
