About us
Does your senior dog still enjoy getting out and about, but isn’t quite up for a long or fast walk anymore? Come join Jody and Buddy!
We’ll meet at the Summer Lake Park Dog Park parking lot for a slow, easy-going walk around the park designed especially for our older pups. Bring a stroller, wagon, or whatever helps your dog stay comfortable and included when they get tired.
Buddy is 14 years young! He and I usually start out walking, and when he’s had enough, I put him in his stroller and we keep going. Sometimes we do a full lap around Summerlake, and sometimes it’s just half a lap or whatever feels right that day.
The goal is simple: give our senior dogs a chance to socialize, enjoy some fresh air and exercise, and have a fun outing with their people. And yes, it’s a social opportunity for the humans too!
No pressure to keep up, no competition, and no set distance. Just slow walks, wagging tails, and good company.
