Rust by Example - Conversions and expressions

We are ready for another instalment of the "Rust by Example" educational series. This week we are looking at the conversion and expressions chapter.
This hands-on session covers Chapter 6: "Conversions" focusing on how to convert between types. Like the types we created in the last session. We are also covering Chapter 7: "Expressions" for all the expressions allowed in Rust and how some of these can make the code easier to read.
⚠️ New to the series? Arrive early (5:45pm) for setup help and a quick recap of previous content.
⏰ Schedule:
- 18:00-18:30: Networking with refreshments (join other tech communities)
- 18:30-20:00: Rust by Example
