This week we are taking a slight detour from our Rust by Examples journey. We are going to dive deeper into the type system.

More specifically, we are going to look at how to use the type system to enforce business logic at compile time. Eg. how to ensure only validated users can be saved to the DB.

⏰ Schedule:

  • 18:00-18:30: Networking with refreshments (join other tech communities)
  • 18:30-20:00: Educational session

🎯 Who should attend:

  • Those who attended our previous sessions (perfect continuation!)
  • Developers with basic Rust setup who want to join the series
  • Anyone curious about Rust's powerful type system
  • Programmers from other languages wanting to see what makes Rust special

📋 What to bring:

  • Your laptop with Rust installed (we can help if needed)
  • Questions from your own coding experiments
  • Experience with types from other languages (we love comparisons!)

This is a great follow on to the conversions we looked at in the last session!

Looking forward to seeing returning Rustaceans and welcoming new faces! 🦀
