Rust is the backbone for many applications because of its speed and safety. But sometimes your application is in another language. Or you need to port an application to Rust in a piecewise fashion.

So this week we are going to look at how to do this if you are on C#. How do you make Rust callable as a dynamic library? And how do you let C# know about the functions in the Rust library? And finally, we are also going to look at some code hygiene for all of this.

⚠️ New to rust? Arrive early (5:45pm) for setup help.

⏰ Schedule:

  • 18:00-18:30: Networking with refreshments (join other tech communities)
  • 18:30-20:00: Main session

🎯 Who should attend:

  • Those who attended our previous sessions
  • Developers with basic Rust knowledge who want to know more about the language
  • Anyone curious about Rust
  • C# programmers who want to write a piece of their code in Rust

📋 What to bring:

  • Your laptop with Rust installed (we can help if needed)
  • Questions from your own coding experiments
  • Experience with other languages (we love comparisons!)

This session is aimed at people with a C# background.

Looking forward to seeing returning Rustaceans and welcoming new faces! 🦀
