Johnson County Socialites

JCS is a social group of women 55+ who live in or near Johnson County. We gather for breakfasts, dinners, games, wine tastings, art shows, and events around the city.  Because we are a private group, we have also hosted dinners in each other’s houses. In December we celebrate our friendships with a holiday dinner.
This is not a religious or political group. Our members have various backgrounds and beliefs.
Members are required to:

1. Provide their real first and last name
2. Provide a recent profile picture (This allows event hosts and members to recognize you)
3. Cancel an RSVP as soon as they realize they can’t attend an event (This allows others on the waitlist to attend. It also lets the host modify an RSVP with the restaurant.)
4. Pay yearly dues of $20. (This covers the cost of the website and other expenses. The dues are pro-rated the first year. A new member is also given a grace period of 60 days to sample events before deciding to join.)
