The Bieler Braderie is on this weekend, so let's make a day trip of it. It's the legendary Biel summer street festival, and the whole old town turns into one big party: 500+ market stalls, food everywhere, a Ferris wheel, live music on two stages, and that easy bilingual Biel summer buzz. Free to wander, just bring cash for food and drinks.

We meet at 13:45 next to Starbucks at Bern Bahnhof, right by the big departures board. From there we head to the train together: the S3 to Biel/Bienne leaves at 14:00 from Gleis 12, about a 30 minute ride, and the festival is right by Biel station. Get your own ticket before we go.

Running late? Head straight to Gleis 12 and look for the group, or just hop on the next train, they run every half hour. We'll spend the afternoon wandering the stalls, eating, and catching some music, then head back early evening. Stay longer if you're having fun.
