Repair Café Köniz

A volunteer repair café at the Oberstufenzentrum Köniz, running from 10:00 to 16:00 with items accepted until 15:00. Volunteers take on textiles — mending, darning, shortening and patching — alongside computers, household appliances, entertainment electronics, knife sharpening and miscellaneous odds and ends; coffee machines are the one thing they will not touch. There is a cafeteria, and the organisers explicitly frame the wait as the social part: over coffee and home-baked treats you can shorten the wait, get talking with other guests, or simply watch the repairs happening. Bring something broken, or just turn up.
