Poetry Slam at Mahogany Hall

A spoken-word contest at Bern's oldest music club, hosted by Nadine Studer and Kay Wieoimmer. The club's own framing is "Poetry Slam auch mal anders!" — a poetry slam, but done differently. Self-written texts are performed against each other, and, as the club puts it, "natürlich entscheidet das Publikum, wer sich, wie üblich beim Poetry Slam eine Flasche Hochprozentiges, Ruhm und Ehre ergattert": the audience decides who walks away with a bottle of something strong, plus fame and honour. Doors open at 19:15 and the slam starts at 20:00. Entry is CHF 25, or CHF 20 reduced.
