Trilingual Silent Book Club at Caffè Bar Sempre

A Bern meetup group runs this book club. Bring whatever you are already reading, in German, French or English.

The first stretch is silent. Everybody sits at the same table and reads their own book, which is the whole trick, because it is far easier to get into a book in a room where nobody is going to interrupt you. Afterwards people say what they are reading and whether it is any good, in whichever of the three languages they feel like using.

Free, and you buy your own coffee.

Meeting people is easy. Seeing them again is the hard part. That's the part we work on.
