The BLUEBELLS of the Enchanted Forest of Ashridge' a shorter hike

IT Is BLUEBELLS TIIIIIIME!
Let's go back to the Chiltern Hill and see one of the most stunning wild bluebell carpets in the country.
This is going to be one of the 3 days of bluebells trips this year!

After last week's success, I decided to add another day and make a shorter version of the trip, it is Sunday after all! Attention, there will be 4 bluebells areas but please be aware that the official ticker one charges 3£50 to enter, the other 3 are free. If you wish to enter the managed one, please take 3.50 in cash with you.

The Ashridge Estate consists of 5,000 acres of woodland, chalk down lands and lush meadows and are home to some of the eldest trees in the country and I will take you to this absolutely gorgeous place in the woods, heathland and rolling hills.
You can walk for miles and see a variety of wildlife such as deer or red kites but the most important inhabitants of these landscapes are by far the magical creatures such as Malefiscent or who knows, a werewolf or even Buckbeak the Hippogriff from Harry Potter!

This place has been chosen as the filming location for so many movies that I cannot even tell you the whole of them! Harry Potter, Malefiscent,Robin Hood, Stardust or Gulliver travels but it is not surprising when you see the beauty of those woods.

So come and join me for a day out on my trails! You know you want to! Come on, you are not working and I will take you to a beautiful place that will not disappoint and that will help you to relax and get a breath of fresh air.
You will see bluebells, bluebells and even more bluebells until you get sick of it!Of course I cannot know how thick the carpet will be when we get there but we have some good chances to have some nice ones.
Take your camera, put up some nice clothes for your best insta profile of the year!

INFORMATION:
Distance:10 miles/16km depending on the group we can even make it longer.
Difficulty:medium, a couple of hills.

Via train (only a 40 minutes journey )

WHAT TO BRING:
Waterproof shoes for the hike, preferably hiking shoes, otherwise good trainers;
Weather appropriate clothes, including waterproofs if there is a chance of rain

WHATSAPP:
A WhatsApp group will be created a few days before the trips, noone is forced to join of course, but I will post additional information on it, we usually also exchange photos of the beautiful day.

ATTENTION:
Our trips will not be cancelled due to weather conditions so please ensure that you do wear and carry appropriate clothing. 😄
